Transmissions, rebuilt right. Diagnosed first.

Great transmission and valve body service, and highly recommended. I had a ZF 6HP28X with well known wear and tear issues causing hard shifts. Matt and the crew rebuilt it all, and it moves smooth up and down like it should. I appreciate the expertise and labour that it takes to tear these down and replace many parts involved, then get the fluid back up to temp and at the right level so the pressures are properly managed when the vehicle needs to change speeds. Very cool stuff.

I brought my 2010 C300 to three different garages. The first garage diagnosed it as a planetary gear issue and said it would require a transmission swap, costing over $3,000 with a used transmission. I wasn't comfortable with that option. That referral led me to Matt at Toronto Automatic Transmission, and I couldn't be happier. Matt diagnosed the car, clearly explained all the needed repairs, and had everything done within two days at a very reasonable price. My car is now back on the road and drives like new.

Really good experience with this guys considering that having to fix your transmission is very expensive and nothing pleasant there 😞 They did a transmission overhaul in exactly the time that they told me it will take and for considerably less money that other places where quoting me… I did had to come back after initial fix cause one of the parts they installed during an overhaul was faulty, again they did it in a day and costed me nothing because it was under warranty (1 year/20 000 km). I mostly dealt with Matthew… Big recommendation for this guys 👍
